About Me

My story started when I was a babysitter of a little boy named Christopher. He had many physical challenges that brought him pain. I would massage the muscles in his legs when they would lock and camp up. When the cramps went away, he would smile.

I found changes in my world through life events and found that cancer came up in a lot of those life events. I have been a caregiver helping family and friends and was tired of feeling like I had no control and feeling there should be more I could do to help. I needed to contribute, so I created a team and joined the committee through Relay For Life to help raise funds for cancer research and programs for cancer patients.

Life sent me another message when I found myself unemployed. “What do I do now?” My husband looked at me and said “this is the time in your life to follow your dream of others in pain to feel comfort”.

So here I am loving my work as a Certified Massage Therapist! It is a humbling experience to help those in any kind of discomfort and to be part of an individuals proactive approach in preventing discomfort.

I am a graduate from National Holistic Institute, A College of Massage Therapy and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, I continued my education with Massage Therapy Institute, receiving my certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and my certificate in Oncology Massage Therapy. Education will never end as I continue to take many courses on various topics to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.
